Brookshire Archer is a wonderful Dales pony/Gypsy Vanner cross weanling colt who should mature around 14 hands. He will be suitable for a wide variety of disciplines. Dales Ponies are known as "The Great All-Rounder"; and are a critically endangered breed of native British Mountain and Moorland ponies. Huckleberry is an outstanding coming two-year-old blue roan DPS-registered Section A Dales Pony gelding looking for his perfect home. Estimated mature height 14.1 hands. Huckleberry is very personable, highly trainable, curious and sensible. He has the presence, the calm temperament, the athleticism, the kindness, and the versatility that this incredible breed is known for. He is well conformed, with great bone, impressive ground-covering gaits, and powerful hindquarters. He has been raised thoughtfully with young and mature Dales Pony friends and freedom to run and play. He is current on all routine care. 

Huckleberry is not shy. He has a tendency to push boundaries, and hence the potential to be poorly behaved in the wrong hands. For those interested in whorl-ology, he has high double side-by-side whorls, though this should be interpreted in the context of the Dales Pony temperament, which is characterized by kindness, willingness, calmness, and intelligence. 

I raised his imported sire and his dam, and owned his maternal grandparents. They are all exceptional equines. This pony will be a fantastic partner and a showstopper in any riding or driving discipline. It is very important to me that Huckleberry finds a home where his potential will be realized.

Brookshire Regulus (barn name Reggie) is a yearling bay purebred registered Dales Pony colt out of a recently imported dam (Hett Sansa); and the well known bay roan Dales Pony stallion Ziggy (Envoy de Kingmaker).  He has had extensive handling, including traveling to WSU as a foal with his dam for several weeks for some embryo transfer work.  He is halter broke, stands tied, loads in the trailer, has been lunged, and has had his feet trimmed several times.  He has been pastured with other horses as well as chickens, goats and sheep and gets along well with everyone. He has a very kind, calm, playful and curious nature and is looking for his next partner to take him in any direction they wish. Can be gelded before traveling to his new home.
