Blackshadow Calypso aka Lyza is an absolutely gorgeous Dales pony cross filly…posh sport pony! Our very first cross from our homebred buckskin quarter horse- she did not disappoint. Lyza is very well developed with notable conformation like her sire and dam. She exhibits a well shaped muscular croup with clean limbs and substantial bone much like her sire Kingmaker Jupiter. Her already impressive gaits show remarkable promise for a future in the show ring. Lyza's character completes her with a friendly and inquisitive disposition - a hallmark of the Dales pony breed. Stamped by both parents with a sense of ease and willingness, Lyza would be more than suitable for that person raising a foal for the first time. The coloring on this filly is only the added bonus she's just beautiful. Lyza is registered with the Dales Pony Society UK and will be ready to go spring 2025 with all current vaccinations and age appropriate handling. Artie is a 2024 Pure Bred Dales Pony, will register section B due to small amount of white on front left. Shedding out as Black, with tiny patches of white on three feet that should not be visible when his feathers grow out. While Artie will not qualify as a DPS licensed stallion, he is going to be either an awesome gelding, or an amazing Sport Pony stallion. He has the smoothest movement, will canter nearly in place next to me as I walk through the pasture, and is fluid and graceful. In his spare time, he enjoys herding the chickens and barn cat, playing with his herd mates, playing chicken bowling, playing in the sprinkler, and loves attention from humans. He will walk away from grain if he can get extra pets and  cratches.

His movement shows strong potential as a dressage pony in the future, he jumps over anything he can find, and with the flexibility and versatility of the Dales Pony breed, he has the potential to succeed in nearly any field desired.

  Artie has age-appropriate training – stands tied, picks up feet, leads, and has been introduced to things like an electric wheelchair, balls, hula hoop, umbrellas, tarps, plastic bags and balloons (no big deal on any of them). Artie will sell with a contract ensuring right of first refusal if he is placed back on the market, and a safe harbor agreement that in the event any future owner can no longer care for him or no longer wants him, for any reason, Artie can return to Shiloh Traditions for a safe, permanent retirement at no cost to his owner.

Artie is also eligible throughout his life time for any owner to apply for a grant from Shiloh Traditions to contribute towards costs for activities where he is used to educate the public about Dales Ponies. Kore is a Dales pony cross and is quite a fancy one at that! He has been blessed with wonderful attributes from both his sire and dam. Kore simply floats when he moves and you really cannot take your eyes off of him. Nice pony head and ears, soft kind eye and will finish on the larger side like his dam. His temperament is delightful and he was already an absolute saint when standing for the vet during his foalie check ups. Kore has older siblings who are under saddle and successfully competing, all very willing with excellent temperaments.
