Floridadales Stud is a Dales Pony breeding farm near Ocala, Florida. We aim to be an ambassador for the breed and showcase what a Great All Rounder the breed truly is.
Earnwell Unique and Griseburn Lady Jane are imported from England and are our foundation mares. Our home bred Floridadales Blue Envoy “Maverick” is the first blue roan Dales born and bred in the US. He is our stallion and is standing at stud, fresh, frozen or live cover are available. He is proven and has produced many lovely foals throughout the US.

Blackshadow Dales Pony Stud began in 2013 with a single Dales pony mare ( our Prim) whose presence and personality undoubtedly changed our future. Since then, we have been devoted to the Dales pony, and the preservation of this critically endangered native breed. We are a family run affaire, with an emphasis on our Dales ponies being ridden and handled by even the littlest members of our “herd”.

Established in 2012 Dark Horse Ranch is an 18 acre farm in Harvard, IL, owned and run by Jennifer Hedrick. We raise heritage breed chickens, Friesian horses and discovered the critically endangered Dales Pony in 2018. We immediately added 2 black Dales Pony mares to the farm, and over the years have since added 3 more blue roan ponies to round out the herd. We are focused on preserving this critically endangered breed and future plans include breeding and attending events and shows to promote awareness.
